These Baltimore Street Irong Springs are cut completely submerged so no heat is transferred to the metal.
In turn, there is absolutely no loss of temper in the steel...yielding perfect springs! Innovative design controls were the spring flexes. The tabs are sent flat allowing you to use o-rings if desired.
These Cut-Back Springs are cut using the same process as our regular Shader Springs ensuring no loss of temper. The Cut Back Springs are relieved in the center allowing the armature bar to rebound more.
We recommend thumb rolling the front spring to control flex as well as using the tab on the rear spring.
When they are tuned properly, there isn’t a cut back set that can compete with these springs! Hands Down – the best.
(Roll the spring more for heavy bars, less for light bars).
